Over the last 16 years, AHG teams have raised over $100,000 for cancer-related charities through our AHG Hockey Fights Cancer (formerly Pink in the Rink) events.
This year, we continue our efforts to do our share to fight cancer at the home game on December 07, 2025 at 2:30pm, with proceeds going to very important cancer-related charities.
It starts with a pre-auction of special game-worn jerseys for this event, on which you can bid by phone, text or email until November 08, 2025 at 11:59pm, or encourage someone else to bid if you already have one and don’t need another.
This is a great way to honour someone you know who has been affected by cancer. Dedications of these jerseys will be read out on the PA system as the player skates onto the ice, showing the name of the person to whom it’s dedicated.
Bidding starts at $120 for each jersey, with all proceeds split between Kidney Cancer Canada and the Brain Tumour Research Centre of SickKids Hospital.
At the event, we also raise funds through a bake sale and a silent auction. As such, we appreciate all contributions of baked goods, silent auction items and, of course, jersey bids.
